While this product fulfills the need for a adapter for SONY HT-X8500 soundbar, but one thing it lacks is the L shape input for soundbar. There is a straight pin and if soundbar is mounted in wall, just as mine, It is practically impossible to use it properly, I had to do some adjustments in my setup and then it is working.
This is a point you should consider while you are mentioning specific product model number.
